326. Party time

 I came home last night and opened Blogger to write a quick blabbering on post (yes, and other one!) and saw that it was past midnight. I sank into the sofa into deep despair. I had failed to write a blog post for the 21st of January and now it was too late! 

I had failed at keeping a monthly resolution!

I had made a list for the host of the party and asked him to choose what he wanted me to bring. I was offering to make:

- ginger and pear gâteau renversé

- chocolate and whisky cake

- Indian savoury snacks

The reply came and the chocolate and whisky cake had won. I breathe wisky flavoured air all afternoon, went to the party where I both drank and ate whisky and then missed the deadline for my post.

Never mind I coud catch up on Sunday except I never did because the midnight visitor came again and this time he took - amongst other things - my precious laptop which meant an other deadline missed.
