447. Stupid post about stupid stinky boots

 The shoes are stil in one piece. Admittedly there was a little pink froth that looked a little like it could cause a minor explosion but it didn't. The pink was on the surface and the rest was just muddy water complete with bits of turf, leaves of grass and I made sure I kept the soil and used it for the plant in his bedroom (as it is not looking its healthiest).

Pause.

I cannot believe I am writing a post about post match boot cleaning. It is not even good cleaning advice. 

Anyway I've started so I'll finish. I rinse all the froth and the pink muck and leave them to hopefully dry. I have an idea that maybe I should bin them because if he thinks they're clean enough to wear them (and he will, no doubt about that) and he wears them at the next match and they disintegrate during the match. 

I'll have to be on the bench with the coaches and the players with a plastic bag containing a second pair of shoes. Maybe I'll tell him to just wear them for training sessions.
