I missed my blog's birthday. 

Maybe I did not have time to celebrate. I was too busy counting. 

Counting the years (2), the posts (256). Counting the characters (727,114 without spaces and 894, 836 with spaces), counting the words (172,456), counting the paragraphs (6,037) and the pages (461).

Counting is for accountants. Not writers. Counting is also about assessing and assessing is about looking back. And while you're looking back, you can't see what's ahead and you crash. Into a wall, a tree, an other car. There's always something to crash into.

Two years of blogging. And I'm turning into an accountant ... And this is driving me insane. What am I going to do do with all these words? At least they're not in my head anymore.
